Dubai and “Tehr-Angles”

Because of the high number of Persians in the LA area, many in call it Tehr-Angels. I, and many others from around the world, really believe that the instantaneous nature of communication these days has Iranians in Iran comparing their situation to the (generally successful) Persians in LA and hence this massive uprising of anger we are seeing. There is another city that is home to a high number of Iranian expats who are also generally successful: Dubai. And I do believe too that Iranians in Iran are comparing their situation to the Iranians here in the UAE. I have no idea why the Dubai police are trying to rein-in the protestors, the government should be encouraging them. The demise of the Mullah-ocracy in Iran will benefit the UAE and the region, and the whole world really. The UAE’s message to Persians across the world should be: we are with you 100%
