Victimhood Journalism

The Gulf News specializes in victimhood, not journalism. Rather than doing justice to the parents of the deceased, what do they do? They follow them to Church and report on their tragic plight as if they are circus freaks. Rather than allowing them to mourn in peace, they publish pictures (and video) of the distraught to sell newspapers. Justice for the parents of the children who died of food poisoning means finding out what caused it, and not submitting to the almighty authorities who will (not) take care of it. Why did the children die instantly? What suppliers/wholesalers/dealers of food are responsible? The narrative that food in the summer spoils quickly due to heat and improper refrigeration is not enough – I don’t recall any food poisoning in summers past. Sorry, I don’t buy it. I still think the contaminated sheep is a credible lead, and I won’t stop questioning until proven otherwise. (I might be 110% wrong, but it should still be followed up) My thoughts and prayers are with the parents of the deceased RIP.

110% wrong on the contaminated Vietnamese sheep. They were taken out there to breed and export back to the UAE but the majority died during the quarantine on arrival in Vietnam, so they haven't got the the shipping meat back here stage.
